Dropping in to reassure everyone that we are not leaving you hanging on purpose!! After last year’s crazy COVID season, several teams from our conference are not swimming again this year. We WILL face Richmond and St Joe at home and are in talks with Clarinda, Maryville, Shenandoah, and others about possible meet opportunities. Fingers crossed!! We should know more early next week. We will have all website info up-to-date and ready for registrations very soon. A couple of things we DO know...... All four of last year’s coaches 

(Jenny Denney , Tammy Kime , Wesley Holland , and Emma Heitman ) are BACK BABY!! We are also adding Sydney Stewart to our coaching staff and Missouri high school state champion, Makenzie Kurre, will be volunteering to help.

Practice starts 6/1 and will be offered Mon- Fri FOR ALL. The season will run through mid July. Practice sessions will be 7:45 am -9, 8:45-10, and 9:45-11. Oldest kids will be in the earliest session/ youngest in the latest session. 6Us will do a 30 minute session in a slot somewhere between 8:45-11. We will wait to announce exact age breakdowns until after registration so that we split it up as evenly as possible. Remember - The team will cap at 140 swimmers, so when we announce it is time to register - don’t wait around! Finally, we need to announce that the city has decided to increase our fees this year by $500 and then next year going forward by an additional $2000 to cover lifeguard expenses

. Unfortunately we have to raise fees this year from $75 to $85 per swimmer to cover the increase and will have to wait and see if that is enough to keep us out of the red in 2022. We apologize for the increase. We fought and lost. Definitely not hating on the city however. They do so much for our team. And even at $85, this program is a steal. Please put a lot of effort into securing sponsors this year so that we can keep fees constant for several years!!
